A cross tattoo, perhaps more than any other image ìn Western culture, gives ìts wearer the opportunity to make a religious statement. There are many styles, forms, and designs of cross tattoos and each one has ìts own unique historical background. In a cross tattoo these histories are displayed ìn the intricate details that describe the culture and the faith backgrounds from whìch they were born.
One of the principles for the essential design of a cross tattoo is originate in the Celtic cross. This cross tattoo originated with the symbol of the Celtic cross and is classically more balanced than its Latin complement. Four equal arms encompassed by a circle give a emotion of agreement and completeness. As far as symbols go, thìs one carries and air of strength and solemnity.

Tattoos have been around for centuries and used for reasons that go beyond their aesthetic quality. One of the most popular tribes known for their tattoos are the Aztecs. The particular tribe has been quite advanced in their time, incorporating skin art in their culture to the point that most of their symbols are still being used today.

Brian B asked: I want to get a celtic cross tattoo but so many people have them. What kind of cross tattoo would be different but tasteful?
I am a follower of Christ and would like a tattoo to reflect that fact.

Once you’ve decided to acquire a tattoo, choosing a design you like is the next big – and somewhat difficult – leap. Especially since you’re going to be living with the one you choose for a long, long time. That’s why you have to consider all the choices before finally settling on a tattoo design.
It might take a while, but the important thing is that you get a tattoo that you will love for the rest of your life. However, the search for tattoos is no longer as hard as it used to be. Nowadays, you can download tattoo patterns from a number of tattoo domains and take them to your favorite tattoo shop.

Elizabeth W asked: I didn’t wear a cross until i was 18 yrs old and still don’t wear one because my upbringings didn’t allow them even though it was Christian based. But i find them to be both beautiful and sometimes the designs just ****.
