Native American culture is truly being extended around the globe as people gradually become more drawn into having cherokee tattoos. This is a culture that is very much accepted for being in total accord with nature. Many people are fascinated to find out about this culture because it was almost exterminated and lost to the world. Albeit Native Americans were enforced to employ foreign cultural practices while remembering their own.

Tribal shoulder tattoo are the earliest type of tattooing known in history. The custom started during the Neolithic Age in Eurasia. The oldest human species ever discovered is Otzi the Iceman who is considered to have lived around 3,300 BC in the alpine region of what is at present the boundary between Austria and Italy. The well-preserved cadaver bears 57 tattoos, many of which are simply dots and lines.
